Before she was an accountant, Melissa was called back in by a business owner she’d once worked for. A manager had run off with the owner’s money and left her payroll taxes unpaid, and the owner had no idea any of it had happened. Melissa still remembers asking her how:

Phil runs the back end, onboarding, systems, the client portal, and the data. He spent nearly two decades in industrial distribution at a multi-billion-dollar company, moving from sales into corporate finance: financial reporting, data analytics, profitability reporting, and ERP implementations. He brings enterprise-level systems thinking to small business.
